Dear Richard: --

Your letter of yesterday promptly to hand this morning and contents noted. And am sorry little May has been so sick, and you certainly have my deepest sympathy. It would be a source of great pleasure to me to know she was well. I have never seen invoice for safe. You bot. and paid for it, and I have never known what it cost. Your house is being lathed, ready for plaster in a short time. Linthicum seems to be doing his best now, and I think they will have it completed in a short time now. Old Wise is back and wants a room. But says you are too high on them. Expect you would make by renting for a little less. I told Wise not to rent until you come down, which he agreed to do. I understand a Building and Loan association has been
