the water was excellent, the fare was wholsome (Correction: wholesome), nutritious and well served - while the honey was lacking, "the land flowed" with delicious milk. Mr. and Mrs. Mitchel, all the boarders, and last, but not least (under the circumstances) the servants were the personification of kindness.

Please let me thank you again and again for your thoughtfulness and generosity. I am under a debt of gratitude to you which can only be paid by love.
