Dear Sir

Yours of 27th received and noted As regards to selling to a Syndicate I am in favor of it for as it now stands it will be almost impossible to make any money from the mill for all the mills up North are doing all they possibly can to break us down they are cutting prices until there is very little margin left & if they all go into a Synicate prices can be raised & kept up which it is impossible to do under any combination except a Trust or Synicate.

I don't think the mill had lost any money this year think we are in a better condtion than we were at the first of the year but we are not yet is as good fix financially as we were when we started but our trade is increasing & think we are turning out work at a
