I beg you will not think me intrusive or wanting in respect, but my whole thought goes out after the boys and girls. So, my dear Sir, save our boys & girls from the pollution of bad pictures. Will you not[?] I know you can: Get rid of the leprous spot on your business. I am a Southern Man and appeal for Virginia, the land of Washington, to stand by the little children. If need be the men, but oh save the boys & girls. They can't protect themselves. Please excuse this liberty. A gentleman of high position has called my attention to it.

Very respectfully

John T. Wightman Pastor of Chatsworth
