An now my dear Tom, My love for you, prompts me to write and ask about your spiritual condition. It is of small importance to be weak in the flesh, for that perishes when the vital spark takes its everlasting flight, but it is all important to be strong in the faith of our Lord Jesus, when your immortal soul passes into the unseen and eternal: I have prayed that you would commit your ways unto the blessed Jesus. Just open your heart and say, here Lord Jesus, I am a poor sinner come in and dwell! And if you do so |
