Please have your good wife write me if you are not able.

My Dear Tom:

I am pained to hear that you are still seriously sick. I had hope to hear of your decided improvement. An now my dear Tom, My love for you, prompts me to write and ask about your spiritual condition. It is of small importance to be weak in the flesh, for that perishes when the vital spark takes its everlasting flight, but it is all important to be strong in the faith of our Lord Jesus, when your immortal soul passes into the unseen and eternal: I have prayed that you would commit your ways unto the blessed Jesus. Just open your heart and say, here Lord Jesus, I am a poor sinner come in and dwell! And if you do so trustingly, He will come in + cast such a flood of light upon your soul, that you wont be able to contain your feelings, but will cry out "halleluyah: halleluyah: it is done. I believe on the Son". Oh: my dear Tom, I do want to meet you in Heaven. Heaven is so attractive to me already. I have Father, Mother, Wife, and two children there. Wont you bid one hope that I shall meet you there also? Yes: I believe you will. So Just now, give you heart to God. repent and believe with all your heart mind + soul + the work is done-

Sincerely Your friend

Chas. H Conrad.
