Be a good girl, study hard, and reach a high standard in all that is smart, good and honorable and bear in mind that your standard at school as an intellectual girl will remain with you always-especially among your school mates.

Ida Seate of --79-- is now in Goliad, boarding at the same place that I am and it is indeed pleasant to have an old school mate with me.

With much love Your devoted Sister

Lessie Muse
PS. dont (Correction: don't) be uneasy about your dress for you shall have it in due time. Lessie.
