I also found note enclosed as stated which Wm Morgan discounted for me. I never used the first one. Slaughter refused to handle it, and Morgan put me off from time to time until it was out of date. Hence I put old Tilly off, until the last one was received which I got discounted without any trouble. We succeeded in getting $4000.00 from Charlie Watkins, since that time we have put in about 100,000 ft. green lumber for spuders &.c. and have put in wood enough we think to get out about 500000 Bobbin Blocks, besides a good many bought from waggons, say 40000 and I think we must have in the neighborhood of 300000 old Blocks on hand. We have orders out for about eight or ten cars more of Green, also for 8 M
