all that was in my power to do for her, & it is a comfort to know I never left her but to do something for her, or to get something for her that I would not trust her nurse to do - I never thought of my own feelings where she was concerned - it seems as if I had supernatural strength all her life, for I was always so frail & weak myself that even the loss of a few hours sleep would make me sick, but all her life I would be up night after night & day after day with just a few minutes sleep now & then, when she would sleep, & never seem to feel it, it seems as if God gave me strength, you know he has promised, as thy day so
