Hartford, Conn., Jan 19th 1889 Mr. Geo. W. Moore Jr. Lynchburg, Va.

Dear Sir

If on receipt of this you have not sold the 10 shares Bonsack which I authorized you to sell in my last please do not sell it. If Dr. Dillard calls for the 20 shares to which I referred let him have it but I dont care to part with any more. If Dr. D's friend has secured the 20 shares hold on to all of mine as it is good stock & no machine yet made or under way can compete with it.

Yours &c.

R. H. Wright
