at bank, and as it was about the middle of the month I could not get a book written up. Slaughter told me he would write up book in full the 1st of month and I could see how it stood. I think the mill will be ready for work by the 1st Feby, or soon thereafter. Getting in some timber from various parties in country. The Dr. At last is having some boxes made as samples to see if he can get them right weight &c. Petty is here but has done but little. He seems to be taking hold though now. We are all tolerably well. Mamie has gotten over the mumps and I think improving right much. When will you be down?

Yours &c.

Thos. D. Wright
