Dear wife

Rah for Durham! Cats out did herself last night and carried the crowd- I enclose a programme Miss Edmundson of Goldboro did not appear + the managers transferred Lessies vocal piece from the 2nd programme to the 1st + she both sung loco foco + played old Black Joe- She was heavily encored on both pieces but her effort on the song was more appreciated- Although no encores were to be noticed, still they called for her 3 times + she was obliged to sing a 2nd piece "This is the song for me"- I have heard her play black Joe as well at home, but Prof __back
