He plans to have C. B. Green and G. E. Webb forward Durham's main newspapers--the Daily Tobacco Plant and Durham Recorder-- so that she might read about the proceedings of the North Carolina Annual Conference of the Methodist Episcopal Church, South's Annual Conference. The Southgate family hosts a number of Conference attendees who travel to Durham for the event.
