Knowing that you will be pressed with business, & have not time to answer my letter, I will write again, and tell you concerning my progress etc. I am getting on alright now since I have gotten acquainted with the boys. Have joined the Philanthropic Society, and I intend to make good use of my spare time in reading proper literature. I am studying the Isaac Pittman System of Phonography. This System
